(Cont'd. from page 17 ) Edna Morrison is enjoying her new home in Lakemont Park. Bonnie Whitener is in her new home now and she says she is really enjoying all the extra space. Daisy Brown's son. Captain Clarence Brown, Jr., and his family are expected to visit Daisy this month. She has not seen her son in two years. He is stationed at Loring Air Force Base in Maine. Faye Sherrill;s sons, Allen and Bobby, were home over the weekend. Allen is attending the Aviation Elec tronic School in Memphis, Tennessee, and Bobby is at the University of Knox ville . Lillie Smith’s son, Allen Smith, left May 13 for Vietnam. He is in the Medical Corps of the U. S. Army. He also served in Vietnam last year. His sister, Nadine Stafford, also works in the Knit Sox Division. Tony Kiziah, son of Charlie and Cecile Kiziah, has been home for a fourteen-day furlough. His present home base is Fort Lewis, Washington. Azalee Setzer is wearing a spark ler on her left hand. No date has been set yet for the wedding. Peggie Stevens is also wearing an engagement ring from Glenn Buckner. They have no definite wedding plans. Ruth Robinette is home from the hospital after undergoing surgery. She is recuperating nicely. Charlene Buff and her family spent a recent weekend at Myrtle Beach. Taking her daughter and three grand children with her made her trip an especially nice one. Helen Yount and her husband (Lonnie) also had a nice vacation at Myrtle Beach. They stayed at the Ocean Forest Hotel. Finishing Department Katherine Matthews celebrated her first wedding anniversary on June 18. Georgie Travis is invited to a certain birthday with a certain guy. Martha Sigmon is a newcomer in the ridering department. We welcome her. Mae Sipe enjoyed having her two granddaughters and daughter-in- law visit with her while her son, Jerry, was having exams. Rita Richey is working for the summer in the Folding Department. She is enrolled at Appalachian for the fall term. Patsy Sherrill is happy about her birthday--she is about to become eligible for our Profit Sharing Plan. Evelyn Phillips celebrated her birthday on June 27--the same date on which Margaret Whitener celebrated a wedding anniversary. On Monday, June 5, the Finishing Department employees gave a stork shower for Mary Holsclaw. She re ceived many nice gifts. Judy Baker and her family spent a recent weekend at Myrtle Beach. PLANT #7 Greige Goods Department Welcome to Charlie Carroll, electrician, who has been transferred from the shop to Plant #7. Charlie feels as if he has returned to his home since he was a full fashioned knitter for so many years. Best wishes for a quick recovery to Maggie Durham of the Knitting De partment. She has just returned to her home after undergoing major surgery in the hospital. R. C. Calloway is back in the carpenter shop after being out because of illness. It's good to have him back. Donald Spell is serving on active duty with the National Guard for two weeks. We'll be glad to have him re turn. Congratulations to Emma Voncan- con--she's a proud new grandmother.
