Madie Dean has a new son-in-law. Her daughter, Judy, was married to Buddy Roberts on June 29. Inez Sears is out because of ill ness. She is missed greatly, Hope she can be back soon. Ruby Shields enjoyed a week at Roan Mountain. Evelyn Crews and her husband took a convention trip to Biloxi, Miss, and New Orleans, Louisiana. Virginia Collins enjoyed her vaca tion at home with her family. Adelaide Lindley was at Morehead and Atlantic Beach during the holidays. She went out fishing and caught 108 Spanish mackerel and 20 blue fish. Faye Scott spent a week at Caro lina Beach. Virginia Beasley vacationed in Daytona Beach, Florida. She enjoyed her visit to Cape Kennedy most of all. Arlene McCloud went to Cherokee and through the mountains of Tennessee daring the holidays. Jo Caudill spent her vacation at Kure Beach. Pearl Smith was another who en joyed a vacation at home with her family. Violet Craven visited relatives in Camden, South Carolina. While Pauline Clinard spent her vacation at Carolina Beach, she gained a daughter-in-law. While she was away, her son. Tommy, was married to Alma Jean Wright. Betty Dull and her family went camping at Buggs Island. They slept under the moon and stars, walked through the woods and brought back chiggers to show for it. India Warren and her husband spent their vacation sightseeing in Boone. Betty Shields went to Morehead City for a week-end of fishing. Rachel Holder and her family en joyed their vacation at Ocean Drive. Blanche Ward spent her holidays visiting her son, Charles, at his cot tage at Holden's Beach. -12- Meb Atkins vacationed at Ocean Isle. Gladys Adams enjoyed her vaca tion visiting many points of interest in California. Trelba Smith had a good time at Ocean Isle during the holidays. Dot Kennedy is now a Grandma. She has a new grandson, Randy Earl Stanley, who weighed in at 6 lbs. and 13 ozs. on July 14. Congratulations to Becky Thomas on her graduation from Forsyth Tech. Plant 4: Betty Jo Pegg, seamer of Plant 4, was married to S/Sgt. A. L. Rydberg on July 5, at the home of Ted Peep les inKerners- ville. After a honeymoon trip to Shell Lake, Wis consin, the home town of the groom, they are making their home in Tanyard Court Apart ments on South Cherry Street in Kern- ersville. Howard Webster, fixer of Plant 4, and Rachel Martin were married on Jione 30 in York, South Carolina. They honeymooned in Cherokee and Chatta nooga, Tennessee, and are now at home on Route 1, Kernersville.
