Helen and B.ryce Leonard enjoyed their vacation through the mountains of West Virginia. Ralph and Hazel Semones visited their daughters in Richmond, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Patsy Jackson vacationed in New York and Utah. Dot Edwards and her family enjoy ed a trip to Nashville, Tennessee. Myrtle Quesenberry and family went to Florida for a week. While they were there, they visited Miami, St. Augustine, Coca Beach and Daytona. Euvella McDowell's husbaad has just graduated from Patrol School, and they will be moving to Sanford soon. Sorry!! Annie Inman and her family spent their vacation in the Smoky Mountains. Johnny Vernon enjoyed his week at Myrtle Beach. Virginia Nunn and her family were there for vacation, too. Other Smoky Mountain vacationers were Lois Bryant and Jean Shaw and their families. We hope that both Ermie Marshall and Stacy Cundiff, who have under gone surgery, will be well real soon and back with us. Pat Easter, star bowler on the Adams-Millis team in Mt. Airy, has been named outstanding bowler for both the month and the year in the Mt Airy Industrial League. Congratula tions, Pat!! We know that Dee Hall had a grand time at the beach with her fifteen youngsters--not really her fifteen, but the fifteen she accompanied. They keep you young, don't they? Okra Puckett has become quite attracted to Myrtle Beach. Hm. . , . Oma Pack and Anna Young were queens for a day on the occasion of their retirements. From their co workers, they received corsages and beautiful paintings for their homes, as well as having a party held in their honor. They shall be missed. Plant 3: Joe Hooker and his wife had a wonderful vacation week in the sun at Daytona Beach, Florida. Johnnie Farrington and his family spent their vacation at Morehead City. Stanley Duggins and wife vaca tioned at Myrtle Beach, and they have a tan to prove they had a good week. Edith Siddle had a special vaca tion. Her son, Steve, was home on leave after spending thirteen months in Korea. He has now reported for duty with the Army in Germany. Leonard Taylor took his family to the beach for their holiday. Mack Loy and his family enjoyed their vacation at Crescent Beach. Willie Smith surely did surprise everyone when she was off one Friday and got married. The new name is Angel. Marion Hedge cock is a proud grandmother. It was a girl, weighing in at 8 pounds and 7 ounces. Her name is Melissa Lynii Harmon and she arrived on June 25. After the ex citement was over, Grandmother had to take a week-end rest at the beach. Gayle Lewis spent her vacation at Cherry Grove Beach. Marie Kidd vacationed at Myrtle Beach. Others showing up at Myrtle Beach for their vacations were Frances Trent, Ruby Macy, Doris Hines and j Carol Taylor.
