SPORT riE'JS "The Campus Echo" "It won’t be long nov/", is the cry, and to assure our readers of this fact the "Eagles", Champanions of the "Old North State", will clash with the Brooklyn Giants on the 16, 17, and 18 of this month in the College Park. Of course, at the present, the Eagle.s are somewhat handicaped in that the "Stadium" has not been completed, but they have worked into shape, and even the regulars haven't been picked as yet and the material looks good, plenty of form and life. •We doubt tho that much of the nev^ will land births but they shall be allov/ed a chance, together with the good material and good weath er, we are sure to have the "Best team in this'land'.' "PLAY BALL" The Interclass'games will start Saturday the 10th.'with■the elimination contest, and the teams'that pull the grade will play for the Champanionship at Hill Side on the following Monday. It is rumored that the Sophmorcs will take the tilt, not regarding the Juniors at all and only allowing the "Freshes" a chance. The Co-ed as v;ell as the "Hard-heads" take part in these games, and already we have summoned the ambulance for v/e are sure somfe of tho old muscles and bones ax'e going to be over worked. SCPIEDULE FOR PRESENT SEASON During the first part of the season, March 16, 17, and 18 there will be a series of three games in the College"Park with the Brooklyn Cuban Giants. Immediately following these games, they, the "Eagles", will go on their annual western tour play ing : March 21 A, & T-At- (|^eensboro March 22 —Livingstone---At Salisbury March 23 .~-J, C.
