Literary magazine unveils special retrospective anthology issue
Jason Chick
A&E Editor
Tuesday afternoon, Colon
nades, the literary and art jour
nal of Elon, unveiled Volume
52, the 2001 special anthology
edition.
The retrospective anthology
includes selected works from
previous Colonnades including
a reprint of Colonnade’s first
cover, published in 1937.
“This year, we have included
works from almost every edi
tion of Colonnades since its ap
pearance on campus. Since this
will be the last year Elon will
be known as Elon College, the
staff felt that it was appropri
ate to investigate the lost works
printed in Colonnades over the
decades and weave them to
gether,” Joy Kress said in her
letter from the editor printed in
the front of the journal.
This year’s staff also in
cluded Michelle Pautz, poetry
editor; Traci Hauser, fiction
editor; Sarah Emerson and
Phelps, fiction editor; Sarah attach a separate index card for

let all students know where to shop
online for nationalistic clothing.
Buying stylish clothes, covered in
stars and stripes, shows you support

includes having your own style and
wearing what makes you feel amaz

that life is short... wear what you
