PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR MEN! Graduate Update by Beth Adams Mary Martha Whiteirer is working in Salem's Development Office. She is the Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement. Mary Martha's job includes fundraising for the Academy and College's operating budget. She plans to stay in Winston-Salem for the next two to three years; then Mary Martha will begin graduate school. Kelly Zappa is living in Winston-Salem, too. She is working for Pockets, Enterprises. This new company manufactures children's clothing. Kelly says their new line of clothing should be out this coming spring. Susan Waters is working for the Forsyth Country Club. She works in management at the Family Grill. Susan plans to keep working for the next two years. Then, she wants to go on to graduate school and earn a Masters in Healthcare Administration. Catherine Penry is another '88 graduate who is working for Salem. Catherine is the Director of Student Activities at the Academy. These activities consist of all activities outside of academics. Catherine is also coaching two teams this fall: J.V. Tennis and J.V. Basketball at the Academy. OAK Initiation by Michele Brennan The Salem College Omicron Delta Kappa circle recently selected five juniors for membership: Heather Glasscock, Ashley Neill, Ashley Pruitt, Wendy Schweiger, and Kathy Thornton. The circle will initiate these five juniors, as well as five seniors who were tapped last spring, in a ceremony to be held on Friday, November fourth, at 5:15 pm in the Assembly Room of Gramley Library. Everyone is welcome to attend.
