CHAPTER - 1928 I _ Meeting Combines Election, Eots Feasting and buSinesa proved a "happy combina tion" declares J»]arshall High, Yfho gave a report on the first meetirg of the Bailey Chapter of the FFA. New officers were elected at this meeting. These officers are V/ayne B. Finch, president; Dwight Glover, vice-presi dent; Cornelius Boykin, secretary; Danny Glover, treasurer; Marshall High, reporter; and Newton Glover, watch dog. • Parker's in 'IVilson was the scene of this first meeting of the chapter, ^ There was a total of nev/ and old', members pre sent. Ronald Bissette, the past president, presided. Federation Conducts First Meeting Meeting to set important dates for the school term, the Nash-Edgecombe Federa tion met in the Coopers Agriculture building on September 23. Those representing the Bailey Chapter were Corne lius Boykin, Dwight Glover, Danny Glover, and adviser John Wells. Dates for the banquets and all contests vrere set at this meeting. 1953 Boys Go Picniclcing Ed Williams * Pond was the scene of a barbecue supper . last Wednesday night for the tenth grade members of the FFA Chapter and advis er John #ells. Each boy brought a chick en and gave Charles Vick, treasurer, enough money to buy the bread and drinks, Billy Liles, L. B,. Adams, and Charles Rhodes served as cooks for the group.
