PIKSCO Happenings By Ric Cox The PIKSCO Homeowners Associations 2022 annual meeting was held on July 16 at McNeill Park. A few opening comments were made by President Ric Cox, and recognition and thanks were given to two outgoing directors, Eric Tellefsen and Lee Johnson. A review of some of the 2021-2022 key projects and accomplishments were highlighted. A few items worth noting again were the seal coat project at Hammer Park, along with new lines added for golf cart parking and a refreshed shower area with all new plumbing. At Garner Park, a new commercial swing set was installed, the roofing was replaced on the pavilion, and a new updated irrigation system was also installed. An additional kayak rack was built at McNeill Park to accommodate increased demand for rental spaces, and all of our park gates were updated with cellular service to streamline troubleshooting and to allow remote access. Two new board candidates, David Wilson and Tom Kowalski, were introduced, both of whom were elected to serve for the next three years. At the conclusion of our meeting, several questions and comments were addressed. Following the annual meeting, a brief board meeting was held to elect the 2022-2033 ofiicers. Ric Cox was re-elected as president, and Darryl Moore was elected vice president. Committee chairs and director assignments were to be assigned/selected at the next monthly board meeting. The PIKSCO Board would also like to thank the many people who have volunteered their time and talents to help maintain our parks, with the increased activity we have seen this season. Also, just a reminder: We have a Little Free Library at Garner Park which has been well used this summer. You do not need to share a book in order to take one, but feel free to share/leave any additional books that might be enjoyed by others. PIKSCO contact.
