Plant Tree in Recognition Of Environmental Efforts By Bob Curry, Chairman Community Appearance Commission Our PKS Community Appearance Commission is very pleased to have received notification that a tree is being planted in the Yellowstone Gallatin National Forest in recognition of ourTree City, USA certification as well as sea oat projects and other environment-friendly accomplishments over the past few years by PKS - all these accolades from a past two-time CAC member and beloved neighbor of the PKS community. The national significance of this gift assumes even further importance because this precious natural resource was recently decimated by fire. The aforementioned tree will help replenish a magnificent forest and preserve the habitat of the diverse species that live there. The official notification of this award alludes to this action by our former neighbor as a “gift for the ages”.
