THE MILL WHISTLE December 23, 1946 MARSHALL MANUFACTURING DmSION CHRISTMAS YEARNING—Hilda Sherron, Laboratory em ployee, looks yearningly at the gifts of beautiful Fieldcrest products, all done up in Christmas wrappings, displayed in the showcase in the lobby of the Spray Employment Office. The display has been visited already by many employees and members of their families and will be open to employees and visitors all day Saturday, December 21, and again on Monday, December 23. Roger Wilkes and J. V. Lea really did an excel lent job with this year’s decorations. The case contains repre sentative products of the Manufacturing Division. HIGH SCHOOL VISITORS—Shown above are some of the 108 girls from Tri-Hi-Y clubs in a score of communi ties in North and South Carolina who attended a three-j|^ day conference here December C-8 which was sponscrec^^ by the Y. M. C. A. Sixteen of the delegates were from the local clubs. Conference headquarters was at Leaksville Methodist Church and the girls were entertained m priv ate homes in Leaksville, Spray, and Draper.
