Joining the customers during their visit here were officials from our Field crest and Karastan sales divisions, in cluding F. W. Hoit, president of the Fieldcrest sales division; A. S. Thomp son, vice president, sales; and J. H. Staak, manager, Philadelphia district- W. B. Guinan, president of the Karastan sales division; and C. J. Henry, rug salesman in the Philadelphia area. Winfield A. Foreman, vice president and general merchandise manager of John Wanamaker’s, important Fieldcrest Mills customer in Philadelphia, and three other officials of the store were guesits of Fieldcrest Mills October 17-18. In the Wanamaker group, in addition to Mr. Foreman, were John Van Camp, home furnishings merchandise manager; Donald Evans, rug buyer; and William Price, linens and domestics buyer. Men from the Spray management group conducted the visitors on tours of B. R. Wiiliams Joins Industrial Relations Dept. After Period of Training Will Become Industrial Relations Representative At Spray Boyce R. Williams, Jr., of Washington, D. C., joined Fieldcrest Mills October 23 as a member of the Industrial Relations Department. After a period of training, he will be assigned to the Spray area mills. He will fill the vacancy left when Robert L. Moore, industrial relations representative for the Spray mills, was promoted to employment manager some months ago at the retirement of J. O. Thomas. A major in industrial relations, Mr. Williams received his B.S. degree from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and his M.S.B.A. degree from the College of Business and Pub lic Administration at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Mt. Williams was born in Indianapo lis, Indiana, but lived in Washington, D. C., since he was a small boy. He has served five years in the Marine Corps Reserve.
