In the runner-up spot was the Karastan Office with 3-1, followed by the Fieldcrest Store, 1-3, and the Blanket Mill, 0-4. Nellie Williams, of the Fieldcrest Store, had high individual average, 159. Hilda Martin, of Karastan Office, had high in dividual three, 445; and the Karastan Office had high team total, 1907. Four teams are participating in the Women’s League which is sanctioned by the Women’s International Bowling Congress. Matches are rolled Mondays at 6:30 p. m. Fieldcrest Mills is sponsor of the league and will provide the trophies and awards as well as paying the membership dues of each bowler in the WIBC. In addition to the teams pictured, other bowlers are; Field crest Store, Marie Cook, captain; Mary Clark, Vivian Johnson, Ann Marlowe, Frances Turner, Nellie Williams and Frances Wilson; Karastan Service Center, Annette Dunn, captain; Janet Grogan, Nancy Landress, Judy Matthews, Betty Murphy and Dot Voelkle.
