Check is presented to Cancer Fund from Fieldale Community Fund. Fieldale Makes Allocation To Cancer Society The Fieldale Community Fund has donated $3,581.72 to the Cancer Fund in its first allocation of the year. A check for that amount was presented to Harry Copenhaver, chairman of the Martinsville-Henry County Cancer Cru sade, in a ceremony at the Fieldale Towel Mill attended by representatives of the Fieldale Community Fund Com mittee. Allocations from the Community Fund are to be made later to other authorized drives and agencies bene- fitting Fieldale employees and their families. Under the Fieldale plan, only one so licitation is made each year at the Towel Mill. An employee may, at that time, pledge a single contribution to be paid through regular payroll de ductions.
