Properly zoned areas contribute to good mill housekeeping. Barrels, boxes and other equipment are kept in designated locations. The mill has a continuing program designed to maintain orderliness and cleanliness in the work surroundings. The mill is following a program established some time ago which involves a regular routine of cleaning and maintenance with strict follow-up of the various points in the program. Equipment, floors, walls, posts, light fixtures, air ducts, etc. are cleaned on an established schedule. Floor finishing, touch-up paint ing and other maintenance duties are kept up to date. The floors are marked with zone lines for proper storage of movable equipment.
