Two nominating committees were ap pointed to select nominees to fill the offices of the resigning presi dent and vice-president. Mr. George Sanders, Secretary of the Ashe ville Federal Savings and Loan Vssociation, spoke to the group, giving details about Federal Banks and the services rendered y the Association. Several of the voice and piano students had charge of the musical program. They gave the purpose of the Tub and the entrance requirements for the club. The entrance require- 'ents are that one must have 2 V’s for every B on the semester verage. One must also be active in school affairs and at least a sophomore. Several members gave some very good talks on choosing one’s vocation. Aside from the Charter Mem bers of last year, three new Beta members were tapped at the be ginning of the semester. They were Mary Don Doty, Dotty Hol- •omb, and Harriet Massey.
