Darby has been with A & E for many years and is always careful to see that our beams meet the highest standard possible. X' A LUNNIE ALLRED and FURMAN HARTSELL are combers operators on 2nd shift in Albemarle Plant No. 3. Lunnie has been employed since April 1967, and Furman has been with A & E since 1953. NELLIE BOYLES, first shift yam layer at the Madora Plant. Nell must be sure to weigh each winder tender’s yam carefully to be sure they get credit for each pound they produce. Nell lives in Mt. Holly and has one son. '^5 GEORGIA BRASWELL is a Winder Tender on the second shift at the Nelson Plant. She has 3 children and 11 grandchildren. She is a member of Calvary Advent Christian Church. Georgia will soon ha>e been employed here 25 years. ON ^ THE SPOT WALTER MOSS, right, Supervisor and JOHN BUMGARDNER, Section Supervisor, are shown in the new Research and Development located at the back of the Madora Plant.
