This is JOHN ANTHONY, a 15 year employee operating tbe press in our new bobbin department. MARGARET ABERNETHY, LUCILLE MC KENZIE, MABLE WILLIS, CLAUDIA BOSTON, and MOENA HARTSOE are winder tenders on the second shift at Maiden Plant. BESSIE STAMPER is a Spinner in Plant #1 Albemarle. Bessie has been with A & E since 1956. SUMMER, 1968 ON^ THE SPOT AROUND the PLANTS 1 CAROL NEAL, on back sewing machine, has been employed one month, and is doing a very good job as a sewing machine operator in the Physical Testing Lab. She, husband Frank, and son, Frank, Jr., live in Bessemer City, and enjoy fishing in their spare time. KAY AIKEN, on front sewing machine, which is part of the testing equipment in the Testing Lab, has been employed four years, and is doing a good job testing strength of the sewing thread before the customer receives it. She and her husband, Edward, of the Dye Department, live in Catawba Heights, and attend the Church of God. Their favorite pastime is fishing and Ustening to hillbilly music. JERALINE HARRIS is employed at the Albe marle Plant #3 on the second shift. She has been with the Company for the past two years. Jeraline had never been employed until she came to work for the plant and really likes her work. She is a spooler and Autoconer Operator. Jeraline is married and has three children. ADA SIMPSON is also employed at the Albe marle Plant #3, second shift. Ada first came to work with the plant in 1937. Ada has done several different jobs in the plant but at the present she is making starters for the spooler. She Is married and has one son who Is now in Vietnam. 19
