ON^ THE SPOT AROUND the PLANTS About to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our very capable Cafeteria Staff in our new lux> urious cafeteria are DARICIA “DEDE** GIBSON (center) and SALLIE CARSWELL (right). At the cash register is our own BARBARA “BOBBI*^ POTEAT. After working for Head-Start, DeDe Gibson came to work with A & E in the Accounting Department In September, 1967. A pretty girl with honey blond hair, she is always a joy to be around. Sallie Carswell of our Accounts Receivable De partment lives in Clover, S. C. She is a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she is Church Pianist. She enjoys driving her new Mercury Cougar to the beach and that is a good hobby for any young single girl. Her friendly personality is just one of Sallie*s many assets. Bobbi Poteat is an outstanding and unforgettable asset of our Accounts Receivable Department. She and her husband, Clayton, make their home in Catawba Heights. Bobbi, Clayton, and their dog, Peanut, spend as much time as possible at the river enjoying their boat and water skiing. A cheerful person at all times and a real go-getter with a million dollar smile for everyone is Bobbi. i f' ji.-, a. X £3 JODY HOOKS is the second shift Section Super visor at the Adrian Plant. This is his second year to graduate from North Carolina Vocational Textile School. He took general yam manufacturing this year. His hobby is singing; Jody sings in a Gospel quartet called the ‘‘Gospel Heirs.” He and his wife live in Gastonia; they have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren. 20 JIMMY NICHOLS of Stanley, N. C., has only been with the company approximately eight weeks, but during that time has become well adapted to doffing our new Whitin spinning. He is employed at the Rush Plant on the second shift. His mother, Mrs. Dortha Nichols, who has been with the com pany since March of 1963, also works in the spin ning department at the Rush Plant. For pastime Mr. Nichols enjoys swimming and playing golf. CARLTON HUNSUCKER works in Albemarle Plant #1 winding department. Carlton has been with A & E since 1959. A & E NEWS and VIEWS
