Page Eight THE NEW BERN MIRROR, NEW BERN, N. C. Friday, January 3, 1964 Here we are again, back In school and back to studies. I’m sure everyone enjoyed Christ mas vacation as much as I did. Everything was just perfect— the weather, parties, every thing. It was good to see old friends again who came home for vaca tion. As usual everyone gather ed at the Parkway for reunions. What would we do without the Parkway, and vlsa-versa. I want to wish all of you a Happy New Year, and all good things to come to all. There are many things which will be happening In the new year. Exams will be starting soon, so start getting at those books. Generator-Starter and Regulator Rebuilding and Repairs Exide Batteries SANDLIN BATTERY & VULCANIZING CO. 125 Craven Street DIXON BROS. That was an honor just for them to be able to play In the Gator Bowl. Until next week. Happy New Year again, and take care. This, of course, is the bathroom. All day long, kids march in and out, washing hands and leaving smudge marks on towels. At night, after a round of baths, clothing is often strewn all over the place. Most bathrooms do not contain closet space for soiled clothing. Where room is available, the homemaker can install a contain er for soiled clothing beneath a counter top, as illustrated. It will be easier to train children to de posit soiled clothing here, since they do not have to leave the bathroom. Wheels on the cart are a big neip, ana permit cart to be rolled directly to' the laundry center. Syracuse, N. Y,—The presi dent of a transit company was surprised when a man walked Into his office and handed him $300 which he said he stole In 1921 while employed as a street car conductor. The company president said the man left without identifying himself but explained that he wished to clear his conscience.
