In case you’ve wondiered why newspapers, radio stations and television stations didn’t receive copies, and pass the information along to citizens who were certainly entitled to it, take a second glance at the heading on the cover. For reasons satisfactory to themselves, the powers that be appar ently left no stone unturned in seeing that the public was kept completely in the dark, despite the fact that the public individually, and New Bern and Craven County officially were expected to support the pro gram.
