Church Honors Senior Citizen l» 1, 1986 Obit^ries Mary JTlanciilir— By Reba MItchall Mrs. Nora Fulcher Hancock was escorted Sunday morning down the aisle by her son-in- law, Mr. Sammy Boyd, for an honorary service given for her. Mrs. Sandra (Cookie) Whitford was the masterof ceremonies. Mrs. Nora Lorraine Smith, her namesake, pinned the corsage on her grandmother. Mrs. Juanita Hartley gave her mother’s life history. Her niece Mrs. Neila Grace Fieids sang. Thinking of Home. Mrs. Jeanette Boyd read a poem written by the mother of Keith Gaskins whom Mrs. Hancock used to baby sit. Then he presented her with a picture. Mr. Hancock was presented a plaque in honor of her many years of service in the church. She was honored with many statements of love and appreciation by many friends and loved ones. Her two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Hartley, Mrs. Jeanette Boyd, stepdaughter, Mrs. Janis Hancock Jackson, two sisters Mrs. Mary E. Wilson, Mrs. lary VANCEBORO-Mrs. Mary Jane Lancaster, 79, died Sunday. Funeral was 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Wilkerson Funeral Home. Burial, Joyner family cemetery. Surviving: daughter, Mrs. Matt Wiggins of Vanceboro; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchiidren. Mary M. Hoell VANCEBORO-Mrs. Mary M. Hoell, 63, died Monday. Funeral was 2 p.m. Wednes day, Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, Celestial Memorial Gardens. Surviving: husband, Alfred Hoell; daughters, Mms. Joyce Wetherington of Benson, Mir®. Cary Foye of Vanceboro; brothers, Columbus Midgette of Vanceboro, Earl Hoell of Vanceboro; sisters, Mrs. Ida McCaffity and Mrs. Edith Lilly, both of Vanceboro; five grand children. _ Annie W.
