score prizes. The honoree’s gift
was crystal in her chosen pattern.
Mrs. Lawrence Norman Chamber
lin, a recent bride, who before her
marriage last month was Miss
Mamie Lee Kimball, was remem
bered with a gift. The two brides

ter, Mrs. Lawrence Norman Cham
berlin, a recent bride, who was

ball. Decorated bridal cakes, in
crescent, heart and diamond
shapes, and salted nuts, were
served. About one hundred guests

CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY
Mrs. J. M. Faison was hostess
at a dinner Saturday evening at
her home on Jefferson Street in
honor of her husband’s birthday.
Dinner was served picnic style
out in the yard. Brunswick stew,
fried chicken, pickles, cake and
iced tea were served from a table
centered with a lovely birthday
cake.
Mr. Faison was the recipient of
many gifts.
