New dugout at Hubbard Field RECREATION FISHING - Fishing has been better than ever says chairman Orville Mull . . . The river has been stocked with 3000 trout since early April . . . Lewis Frady is the top fisherman so far with a 25Y2 inch, 6 lb. rainbow to his credit. GUN & ARCHERY - Salaried members are reminded to pay dues directly to President Ron Santilli for the new year starting July 1. Hourly employee dues have been received from payroll deduction. GUION HOUSE - A new pay telephone has been installed. The Hendersonville exchange number is 693-9211. NEW DISCOUNT - A reduced green fee to Sherwood Forest Par-3 Golf Course has been obtained. HI KING & CAMPING - Chairman Chuck Ramsey announces availability of property maps at the gatehouse showing roads, foot trails, campsites, and activity centers. SOFTBALL FIELD — New team dugouts have been built. Congratulations to Phil Batson for his fine craftmanship in laying the block. THE ANNUAL PICNIC - Chairman Carl Garren announces the Annual Employee Picnic is scheduled Sat. July 19th from 10 AM to 6 PM rain or shine. He lists the traditional family type games (pie eating, races, golf pitch, log sawing, egg toss, etc.) also . . . several new events supplied by The Fun Co., Inc. of Atlanta. These include a kiddie train, a space walk, a high striker, and orbit art machines. They will also supply cotton candy, balloons, and sno cones. Du Ponters are needed to staff 35 separate games. Please call Don Cheek on Ext. 242 to offer an hour of help at the picnic. Hardee's will provide the food.
