C. - 116 Walker Ave. Clublicity By EVELYN SINK Les Soeurs: The Les Soeurs acted as master of ceremonies on the w'eekly Youth Center radio prorgam, January 28. On Monday night, January 30, the club honored Mrs. Bob Wilmoth, forinerl.v Miss Martha Everitt, was a pasfi president of Les Soeurs. Serious discussion was made at the last meeting, February 1, about the club’s annual Saint Patrick’s Day Dance. The members voted to have it March 17, at Starmount Country Club. W. S. T.’s The W. S. T.’s met Thursday night, January 2, 1050, at Lee'ta Highfill's home, and new officers and new members were voted upon. They are planning their first in- iciation to be in several weeks, and plans are being made for a dance in April. The new officers were: President, Carol Harrison; vice-president, Jackie Aulbert; sec retary, Beverly Hall: treasurer, Jean Yandle; and Youth Center rep resentative, Barbara Hutton. The club plans ito become larger and more active in the next few months. Former GHS Student Is Making Good Irvin Buckner, 1049 graduate of Senior High and a very active mem ber of tthe Greensboro Club, is now a Special Agent for the Provident Mutual Life Insurance Oo. One of his attractive calendars if very prominently displayed in the class room where he sat last year, and so enthusiastically entered into class discussions. He urged his fellow classmates to ‘‘‘get on irhe ball” and learn their bookkeeping (by means of Hanson’s Store Set). “Buck” will be well remembered by many D, E. club members as one of the win ning speakers at the Luncheon dur ing the State Convention last April.
