We, can serve with politeness, and most people . do, vt/‘..r.". We can serve with good nature, when troubles are few, We can serve with alacrity, wisdom and wit, But how about service that pinches a bit? To give what is useless—what merit is there? To give what’s unwanted—that’s cheap, I de clare. But to give what you really could use and enjoy— Well, that is a gift that all time can’t destroy. . 7 ' So open your purses and open your hearts. Just give “when it hurts,” and let all do their parts, For the One in whose name we are giving today Gave life, love and glory eternal way! Every great Bible character was a man or wo man of prayer. Christ, the crowning character of all, was constantly in prayer. It was com munion with His Father that sustained Him amid the trials, discouragements and sacrifices He daily endured. -o Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.—Galatians 6:1. m 3
