Her sister, Sarah spent the week end with Starr and they came home together Tuesday. Dr. and Mrs. I. Beverly Lake were in Charlotte Tuesday to at tend an open house given by Mr. & Mrs. Admond Swisher of Swisher Hall. Mr. Swisher was Dr. Lake’s western manager during the prl-1 mary. I Mrs. W. E. Speas who under went surgery in Boston, Mass, two weeks ago is getting along nicely at the home of her daughter and Bon-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Harold A. Wilkinson, Boston, Mass. Mr. and Mrs. J. Nurney Bond spent a few days over the week end with their mothers, Mrs. Laura Bazemore in Aulander, N. C. and Mrs. J. L. Bond in Smithfield, Va. Here to spend Christmas with the Nurney Bonds are their daugh ter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rob ert McCamy and chUdren, Bond and Cameron of Baton Rouge, La.
