a policy operator of sorts, is an au
thority on the term. Olgeby open
ed a new clearing house (some say
"cleaning") in a three-steps down
basement flat recently, and for a
short while business was bombing,
what with several baskets of clipp
ed slips being manipulated and
computed and checked to the tune
of 11,500 in cash. Quite unexpect
edly, however, the minions of the
'aw swooped down upon the estab
lishment, nabbing five women, two
men. all the operating equipment,
and the cash. Olgeby. one of the
group rounded up and hustled off to
the house of many stammers, is
presently mulling over the ques
tion: ‘To what do you attribute the
shortgevity of ths operation."

be ham* produced from hogs
slaughtered before January of 1904.
Hams from hogs slaughtered after
this date cannot be exhibited at the
show, according to an official Hams

class (10-16) pounds or the heavy
class (17-22 pounds). The hogs from
which the ham* are produced must
not be older than 12 months
