Trainees that enter these courses who live beyond com muting distance from the Indus trial Education Center will qual ify for subsistence and trans portation allowances in addi tion to any training allowance* for which they qualify. Train ees eligible for subsistence al lowances will receive $8.00 per day for each night that they n main AWfly frotu their place of residence. They are also eligi ble to receive transportation al lowances for one trip to the training facility at the start of the course and one trip home at the end of the course. In addi tion, they may receive transpor tation allowance not ta axeead the $5.00 subsistence, if the center is closed for one or mare continuous days and the trainee decides to return home. The availability of subsistence and transportation allowance will make it possible for a greater number of trainees to receive financial assistance to take these training courses. Father Of Mrs. Reese Is Dead Mr. S. A. AUred, 62, of Lex ington, father of lfr*. One Reese of Boone, died in ? Win ston-Salem hospital Friday. Born in Randolph County, Mr. AUred wu a aoa of the late S. A. and Minnie Troglon All red. He was a member of the Churchiand Baptist Church. He taught agriculture at Church land High School for 26 years. After retiring from teaching he became the manager of the Churchiand Telephone Co. He was a member of the Church land Lions Club and the Mason ic Lodge. . Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Church iand Baptist Church by Rev. Anthony Gurganus and Rev.
