My people, elections are times for sane and sober thinking; not for personal likes or, for taking spite, which is cowardly; but for the gen eral welfare of all concerned. It is the progressive man, who lives in, and copes with this progressive world. All non-progressive men are shackels on the feet of their constit uents, and mill-stones around their own necks. It is what a man does in the little things, for the little people, that gives a truthful interpretation of what he will do, if We is trusted with the greater things. My People, Think, Register, Vote. It is your privilege and your right. Be Citizens. X. S. Harris.
