Rev. Ralph Knight
To Begin Revival
For Presbyterians
Dr. W. Twyman Will
Preach From April
24 to May 1
The Rev. Ralph Knight, pastor
of the Ballard’s Bridge Baptist
Church, will preach a series of six
'timely sermons in the Edenton
Presbyterian Church, beginning
Monday, April 18, and continuing
until Saturday, April 28, every
night at 8 o’clock. The pastor, the
;Rev. James MacKenzie, who ex
pends a cordial invitation to all to
attend every service, announces
that Mr. Knight’s sermons will deal
with such subjects as church at
tendance, worldliness, social drink
ing, profanity, the need for conse
cration, and the call to full-time
Christian service. Mr. Knight is
Well known in Chowan County as a
consecrated Christian pastor who
proaches the truth- without fear or
compromise.
Beginning Sunday night, April
24, the revival at the Presbyterian
Church will be conducted by Dr.
W. Twyman Williams of Appomat
tox, Virginia, who will preach each
night at 8 until Sunday night, May
1. It is felt that a two week
meeting conducted by two different
men will be of great benefit to the
rhurch and to the community as a
whole. All Christians, regardless
of denominational affiliated, are re
quested to remember all these ser
vices in prayer, that all shall be
biassed with a mighty out-pouring
of the Spirit of God through them.
