If all goes according to plans, Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Alexander, bookmobile librarians, will go to Shrewsbury, Massachusetts this week to pick up a new bookmo bie for white residents. They will drive the old one up and the new one back. Two runs, one in Chowan and one in Tyr rell were omitted the week of November 8, while the old book mobile has been made safe for the trip. It will be necessary to cancel all bookmobile service for about three weeks because of the trip to Massachusetts. Pa trons may either hold their books or return them to the library and check out others. A new bookmobile for colored was pur chased just a year ago. Both purchases were made possible by federal funds allocated to the Pettigrew Regional Library by the State Library.
