When we think of the church, do we think of a particular building? Or do we think of a group of people who are banded into a club for fellowship for ; religious purpose? Is the church a human organization? Let us, first, look at the meaning of the "church in tne New Testament. From the early days of the Christian movement the church has been thought of as the body of Christ. Paul said, “Now you are the body of Christ and in dividually members of it.” The writer of the Letter ta the Ephe-. sians spoke of the alive and growing nature of the church. When he said, “In whom the whole structure is joined to gether and grows into a holy temple in the Lord.” Christ is the head of the church. The church depends upon the living presence of Christ to keep it Continued on Page 6, Section 2 EVANS METHODIST REV. C. T. WILSON, Pastor r>-.»M*’Wnk» <*’ »rv first and third Sundays at 9:30 A. M.
