State Bankers Award Winners The bankers of North Carolina have been given a top national award for the 24th consecutive year for outstanding service to agriculture through the ac tivities of the N. C. Bank ers Association. The County Key Banker for Chowan County, George W. Lewis, executive vice president of Peoples Bank & Trust Company, was ad vised today that the NCBA has won the Agricultural Award presented by the American Bankers Associa tion for notable service to agriculture. The award recognizes the wide range of projects carried on as a means of better under standing and cooperation between the farm and fi nancial community. Cook, Jr., has been pro moted to Wayne Feeds district salesman and B. K. Ramsey has been named territory salesman in Al lied Mills’ South Atlantic Sales Division according to an announcement from R.
