The Albemarle Choral Society, with instrumental, ists from East Carolina University and Elizabeth City High School Chorus, presented the fifth annual series of Christmas con cert featuring the Messiah by G. F. Handel. The program was presented in Edenton Baptist Church Monday night before a large and appreciative au dience. M. in the Council room of the City Hall in Elizabeth City. Ernest Tilley, personnel manager of the North Ca rolina State Department of Mental Health, will brief the board on the general personnel policies of the state and their application to local agencies. (Alco holism and alcohol pro grams throughout the state are under the Department of Mental Health). Miss Helen Tighe, men tal health nurse consult ont for the State Depart ment of Mental Health, and Mrs. Faye Rogers, mental health consulting nurse for the Northeast ern North Carolina coun ties, will be present for discussions that will aid the program conducted in the counties served by the Alcoholism Center from the Medical Building in Elizabeth City.
