With an electric dishwasher you can stash your dishes away after every meal and do them whenever you want. Or when you have a dishwasher full. In the meantime, your kitchen’s clean, uncluttered. You can have your dishwasher built right in under a counter. Or choose one of the popular new free-wheeling portables. Why don't you see your VEPCO-authorized Live Better Electrically dealer or plumber soon—and start doing your dishes automatically? || w J—► -fa. jiii ■" Bp Jjj i jNHHHU. Today you have to have a per mit to add a room to your house. —The Gilt. Edenton, North Carolina, Thursday, December 12, 1968. MY VIEWS OF CHRISTMAS By MARY LIZZIE LANE This is a wonderful time of the year, The Saviour seems so very near; Our days are few, our time is short; This is the time we should make our . tart. Don’t roam off and neglect the way, You’ll regret it all some day; I want you to remember the things I sa. You’ll soon be feeble, old and gray. God grant me life that I may live, I’ll sing your praises all through the year; We can’t call back the past, you know, But on into the future go. Make things right with everyone, For you know the Saviour’s coming soon; If you have fear within Call on Jesus —he’s always near. When the day is growing old And the air is getting cold; Go inside and take your chair And thank the Lord for His care. And when supper time has come You’ll be proud of what you have done; When it’s time to go to bed The darkness you wili not dread. Make your plans wilhout delay; God may call you any day; When the sun begins to set Kneel and pray as the twilight fades away. If your burdens seem hard to bear, Take them to the Lord in prayer; AH the fame you may gain, All the wealth you may possess, It’s nothing to compare With that mansion over there. Versatile Industry WASHINGTON Versa tility has become the by word of the trucking in dustry. Special equipment enables the motor truck to handle every shape of freight—from frozen foods to missiles.
