C., performed in the spring production of the Sock and Buskin drama club. Felton, daughter of Mrs. Roberta Felton, 708 North Oakum Street, graduated from the Jersey City Job Corps Cen ter for Women, April 24th. Miss Felton, who came to the Jersey City Center Jan uary, 1968, has completed the course in health occu pations. The Jersey City Job Corps Center for Women, of which the YWCA of Jersey City is the contrac tor, opened on March 29, 1967. The young women, ages 16 through 21, receive training in the following vocations: Electronics, cul inary arts, health occupa tions, business and clerical skills and cosmetology. In addition, they receive gen eral education instruction in reading, writing, mathe matics and basic commun ications. The classes in the home and family living program include: sewing, how to build a wardrobe, sex edu cation, nutrition, child care and charm. Edenton Listed In Tour Book Edenton has won recog nition in the newest edi tion of the country’s best selling national tourist guidebook, the 1969 Mobil Travel Guide. Out of all the cities and towns in the U. S., only 4,208 were considered to have enough tourist-appeal for inclusion in the guides. Our town is one of them. In addition to giving in formation on where to go, the books list over 23,000 places to eat and sleep with each one rated on a one to five star basis. One star indicates “good, bet ter than average.” Five means “one of the best in the country.” Only 35 es tablishments have five star status in the new edition.
