birthday and her son, Charles
Hassell, celebrating hk 32nd
birthday, were given a sur
prise birthday party on Sun
day at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Casper Alexander.
Mrs. Charles Hassell, hos
tess of the party, presented
her husband and his mother
a gigantic birthday cake deco
rated with red roses on one
end and a scene of a man
fishing in a pond on the
other end. Gifts were open
ed and cake, peanuts, mints
and punch was served to all
the guests.

Dakota and is now serving in

Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church
this weekend.
“Operation Turn-On” will
have its first session in the
Parish House at 7:30 P. M.,
i Saturday. The whole pur
pose is to witness to Jesus
I Christ and to manifest to the
| community the only way out
of our problems, according to
i Rev. George B. Holmes.
The Norfolk guests will
stay in the homes of parish
ioners and share conversa
‘ tions and experiences with
Episcopalians and any other
interested persons. The group
will meet again at 0:30 A. M.
Sunday.
At 11 A. M., Sunday, a
[ Folk Mass is planned and the
Episcopal Youth will demon
strate the Sacramental ap
proach to religious expression

“Way Out” and “Up Tight”
expects to bring youth who
can witness from personal
experience what witnessing,
Christianity has meant to
them.

group, will be in charge of

Saint Paul’s Church expects
to return to its church build
ing for the occasion where
extensive repairs and paint
ing have been made during
