AHS Workers Praised Two local women have receiv ed .special mention in the American Heart Association’s April newsletter. Carolyn White and Edith Nixon were praised for Revival Set Continued From Pige 4-B . He is a graduate of the Divinity School of Duke University and a member of the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Rev. Goerhing Is married to the former Carol Wpqds, who is pastor of Wrightville Beach United Methodist Church. Mrs. Goerhing has served as pastor of the 'Chowan Charge and as associate minister at First United Methodist 'Church in Elizabeth City. The Goerhings have two children. __.Revival services will be held each evening Sunday - Tuesday at Miss Caroline Wright, minister of music, will lead in music for the revival. There will be suppers each evening at six o’clock for those who wish to bring a covered dish and join others for fellowship. chairing the Chowan County Auc tion on March 27 which raised 98,300 for the organization.
