It’s such a shame that Beaver Hill Cemetery has turned out to be a recreation center. A friend and I went there to our ' sons’ graves. She recently lost her son. Were were both shocked to * see many children and some adults playing, racing, laughing, having a ball and having bicycle races out there. On another occasion, I went out there again to visit my son’s grave and saw three or four women walking from grave to grave. I stayed a while and watched. It was plain to see they were looking for something to steal - yes steal. How low can you get? I had a deer figurine on my son’s grave and last week it was stolen. I was so hurt and then I got mad. It’s painful to lose someone, but it’s painful to know you can’t even put something on your loved one’s grave. I have talked with two other persons who have also had things taken. I think this is so sad. I just hope and pray that something can be done about this. This cemetery needs some rules and regulations or do we need a guard? I hope I can get some support on this project.
