SOCIETY /weddings, engagements, births Mrs, Jimmie Carol Forehand, Jr. Byrum, Forehand marry Miss Kimberly Marie Byrum and Mr. Jimmie Carol Fore hand, Jr. were married May 31 at 3 p.m. in the Rocky Hock Baptist Church by the Rev. Bob Young. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis M. Byrum of Tyner. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy C. Fore hand of Edenton. The bride wore a wedding gown created from bridal satin detailed with Alencon lace and round pearls. The bodice was adorned with rice beading and sequins. Her gown also had a basque waist detailed with lace work. The full skirt featured cutouts, lace, and beadwork and a chapel-length train. Matron of honor was Hayley Miles of Kaysville, UT. Bob Young. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Thomas Parrish of Edenton. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Bazemore of Askewville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew A. Parrish, Sr. She is also the great-grand daughter of Mrs. Viola J. White of Askewville. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Andrew Hunt, Sr. of Mocksville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Armon Hunt of Denton, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Steele. He is also the grandson of Mrs. Flora Johnston of England. Mrs. Beverly Young, pianist, and Ms. Beth Hunt, flautist, provided the wedding music. Vocalists included Mr. Philip Huey and Mr. Elmer Overton, Jr. The bride, given in marriage by her mother and father, wore an organza short-sleeve, full skirt gown. The gown featured a sweetheart neck and pearled bodice with a chapel-length train that flowed from an or ganza bow on the back with lace appliques. Robert Mark Alves performed the double-ring cer emony. A program of wedding music was presented by Mrs. Judith Lea Harris, organist and soloists Mrs. Robert Mark Alves and Mr. David Christian . Lehman. Presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal | gown of white satin. The basque L bodice with a V-waistline was lavished with intricately beaded Schiffli lace preluded by a delicately scalloped V neckline. The gibson sleeves, detailed with beaded lace cameos, ended in points over the hands. The Grand ball skirt and semi-ca thedral train were embellished with lace medallions and en circled with a scalloped border of Schiffli lace. For her headpiece, the bride chose a headband adorned with sequins and pearls with a two tiered waist-length veil ac cented with pearls. Her acces sories included a pearl neck lace and earrings which complimented the pearls on her gown. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses, miniature car nations, stephanotis, and free sia accented with ivy and white pearls and attached to her prayer book. The bouquet was designed by Mrs. Walter Newell Moseley. Miss Kelly Rene Moseley of Wilmington, NC served as the bride’s maid of honor. Brides maids were Miss Lia Proctor Gennaro of San Marcos, CA, cousin of the bride; Miss Eleanor Lee Johnston of Roanoke Rapids; Mrs. Kecia McLawhorn Joyner of Roanoke Rapids, sister-in-law of the bride; and Mrs. Marcelle Daughtry Joyner of Clinton, NC, sister-in-law of the bride.
