Haycsviile already has a good
chool. but it was found that the pre;*nt
tax rate did not produce sufficient
revenue to make the school a
lull standard high school. A handsome
new school building has just
been completed, and with the special
tax levy, an accredited school
can be conducted at this point.
Dr. Meroiiey Planning
To Open Drug Store
Dr. B. P. Meroney is adding to his
stock of durgs and installing new
fj*ures, preparatory to opening his
drug store on Tennessee Street. A
soda fountain is bing installed. Dr.
Meroney announced that he would be
ready to open to the public the latter
part of this week or early next
