The combo- Sampson to Ransom- scored on a sudden 16-yard scoring with two sec onds left in the first half. Quarterback Travis Samp son and swift Gary Jacobs (halfback) were two of the five Warriors injured in the game. None of the injuries were considered serious and all are expected back in action soon. The coaching staff signaled out Ricky Brooks as the Player of the Week for his stellar and sparkling defense. Brooks play ed both offensive and defen sive tackle and played on the special teams.
