It is surprising that he shjould have had so
little sense as to have kept this amount of
blockade liquor on band at one time. '
During the same trip, this party broke up
20 odd stills besides the two mentioned, and
poured out about 100 gallons of whisky in
addition to tbe 10 barrels destroyed at Whit-
