Prep rattona have been made to entertain, the delegates in lavish Jh . banquet alone will cost over f 1,000. One of the most interesting ques tions that will be presented will be that I insurance examination fees. Kor years peaVthe New York Lite, the Penn Mutual Uti and a number of other Insurance . companies have been operating; under what Is known as a graded schedule of fees, allowing ft for policies from 11,000 to M.O00; ' t for policies from 11.000 to $5,000 and so on, the fees being proportion ate to the else of the policy. The State physicians, that Is a big ma jority of them, maintain that they should receive as a minimunr ., charge..'- -4 ,The companies which now operate under a schedule of fees are the New Tork Life, the Equitable, the Mutual, the Prudential, the Metropolitan, the Booth Atlantic, the Union Central, the Germanla, Penn Mutual and several others. It Is reported on good author ity that the Mutual Benefit, which 1 company has been paying $1 for years snd years, and several State compa nies will soon come to the graded . schedule of fees, with the other .com panies. Kues- ter. died yesterday morning at z:i. The little one had been ailing for more than a week, but had been se riously ill for only four daya. Every thing possible was done to save the little one for his parents, nut an ei forts were vain. Sympathising rela tives and friends wajched with the anxloua parents until the end -came, and have supported them In their grief. Every time they tried to re turn the elephant threw a stream of water against .them with such force aa to take them almost off their feet Charles Williamson was standing on tha station platform when Queen sud denly turned a trunk full of water up on htm. He waa knocked from the platform and rolled down an embank ment, and was picked up unconscious. Three rib were broken, and one of them, It Is thought was driven Into the stomach. . r ':. No one dared go near the car, and Queen held tha engineer and fireman off till she had practically drained the tank, mud and all, and thrown it on every side at whatever object came within reach.
