Piedmont Fair Association Ha Se tired Property Nearer City, U'hlcli M ill D More Accemlblo Than Old Gronnds. ' .- Bpeclai to The Observer. Wlnston-SaJem, June 16. Arrange- ments are being made to move the grounds of the Piedmont Fair As so- ( elation from Its present site to thei property formerly owned by the Vir-j glnla-Carollna Chemical Company Just south of the chemical works, which will make the fair grounds a mile nearer the city. The Fries Manufacturing and Power Compuny is arranging to extend Its car line to the new grounds and toy the time of the next fair, In October, cars will be running out there.. One of the greatest drawbacks to the local fair has been the distance of the grounds from the city and Its Inaccessibility except by trains or ve hicles. The moving; of the grounds nearer the city and the extension of the car track means that the fair will be more largely patronized In tne future. The water mains and electric lights extend to the' new grounds and this win enable the fair officials to keep the grounds open until late at night if they desire to do so. The people of mo county team with great pleasure 01 xne removal or the grounds. NEW, VORK BONDS. U. S. refunding Is, registered.,'. U.
