Mr. Bern thaler is assistant conductor of the Pittsburg Symphony Orchestra, un der Ernll Paur, and has been a mem ber of that famous organisation since Its Inception, thirteen years ago. He In also a pianist of wide repute, and as official accompanist of the Pitts burg Symphony Orchestra, has won the sincere approbation of the great vocalists who have appeared with the organization from time to time. This is Mr. Bernthaler's third season as conductor of the tPittaburg Festival Orchestra, and he la meeting with splendid success wherever the orches tra appears.
