McNeill and sui- mitted to the county democratic Ex ecutive Committee at its meeting or , the. loth inst. and which was approv ed by the committee. Candidates for the Legislature will be asked to pledge themselves to have such a measure passed for Robeson county if elected. This is the conclusion of the proposed law, parts of which have I been published in the Robesonian of July 20 and 23 Editor). (Concluded from Thursday's issue.) I SECTION 19. That the several '.candidates for office shall, at least : 10 days prior to to any primary flec tion file with the Clerk of the Super ior Court of Robeson county, a notice in writing that ho will be a candi date in such primary election; and the office for which he will be a can didate, which notice shall be sitrned by him, and the clerk shall endorse j on. the back of each notice the dale filed n his office, and shall prescribe the same subject to the inspection '. of anv elector.
