BLAIR.
St. Louis, July 9 Noon General
Frank P. Blair expired at midnight,
sourrouuded by his family and a few
intimate friends. He has been in a
precarious state for several months,
but under blood transfusing treatmeut
Lad begun to grow stronger, aud was
generally supposed to be steadily im-
E roving. During the past few days
e taken frequeut rides aud yesterday
walked down stairs. His death oame
