Wc liml in tho Richmond Dispatch a startling publication relative to I tho status of political aSairs in Virginia. It consists of a tetter, with enclosures. from John V. Woltz, the straight-out Republican, candidate iu the First district and the enclosures arc proofs of a damnatory statement made ' by him to the effect that W. It. Laws, la color ed campaigner who has been stum pin for Dezendorf, another straightout can didate, had been bribed todescrt the latter in favor of his readjustcr oppo nent. Laws was actually paid a por tion of the amount of money agreed up on, proof of which fact exists in a check and certain telegrams and in addition to this he was also promised a clerkship in Washington. It was! a put-up job on Mahouc and it was successful. Laws took the bribe, in accordance with a previous agreement with Woltz, and then reported tho whole matter. 1 There is no doubt of the fact ; the chain of evi dence is conclusive and indisputable. Nervousness. peevishness,1 and fret ting, so often connected with over worked females1 i lives, is rapidly re lieved by Brown's Iron Bitters. lCRSO'ALi i r i ii i w ' t Z W f 1 i - r ' f L . . 1 i I i ? ! riSCSLLATIEOUS i ' ' A J 4 , I Jat3 6 4t62a64;Je-July6 42-64 ?
