The crowd will leave this even ing for California. - News was received In the city yesterday of the fatal burning of three people, in Rutherford county, last Saturday, two being burned to death in a house, and the other in a field while firing brush. In the first mentioned case, - Mrs. Jawsen uavis ana ner sister-in-law, an imbecile, perished n the rums of their burning home. Tliev were in the house alone, at the time, and the origin of the fire can not be accounted for. A colored girl named Jane Freeman, was burn ed to death while firing brush. Her clothing took fire and before assist ance could reach her she was burned so badly that death ensued very shortly thereafter. Raleigh News and Observer : Hon. D. G.
